Die Abmessungen der Rohpapierformate (RAW) sind durch den Papierformatstandard ISO 217:1995 definiert. Das Format besteht aus der RA-Serie und der SRA-Serie. RA steht für 'Raw Format A' (Rohformat A) und SRA steht für 'Supplementary Raw Format A' (Zusätzliches Rohformat A). Das unbeschnittene Rohpapier wird für den kommerziellen Druck verwendet, und da es etwas größer als das A-Serienformat ist, kann die Tinte bis an den Rand des Papiers abfallen (Anschnitt), bevor es passend auf das A-Format zugeschnitten wird.
